Grupo Consorcio renews its commitment to sustainability by recertifying as a B Corporation with a score of 82.9, achieving a 2% increase from its initial verified assessment (81.3). This international standard, promoted by the non-profit organization B Lab, recognizes the company’s positive impact, distinguishing it as an organization that meets high social and environmental performance standards across five areas: workers, environment, governance, customers, and community.
The B Impact Assessment is a free and confidential platform designed by B Lab to help companies measure and manage their positive impact in five key areas: workers, community, customers, and environment. To obtain or renew B Corp certification, companies must complete this assessment and achieve a minimum score of 80 points. Additionally, every three years, they must undergo recertification to ensure they maintain and improve their standards. Today, more than 9,000 companies across 162 industries and 105 countries are part of this impactful business movement.
Through this rigorous evaluation process, Consorcio has once again reinforced its commitment to creating long-term value for all its stakeholders and highlighted its continuous efforts to integrate sustainability into its daily business strategy.
“We are very proud to reaffirm our position as a B Corp and even more so to have improved our score. This reflects our constant efforts to progress further on the path to sustainability. We are motivated to keep advancing and to be an example for the sector,” says Adriana Onandia, Communications and Sustainability Manager at Grupo Consorcio.
