The journey begins

Before the sun comes up, the fishermen get ready to see the signal on the boat's sonar showing what awaits them each day. From the Arctic to the Pacific Ocean, and especially in our Cantabrian Sea, we select the best fish to stay true to our origins; tradition and quality.

Raw material

Since 1950 we have worked with the best raw materials: anchovies, yellowfin tuna, White or Albacore Tuna or calamari. We live off the sea, so we defend responsible fishing in order to ensure the conservation and effective management of living marine resources.

Fishing method

There is a particular fishing gear for each species. Grupo Consorcio respects their sizes and the times of the year for their capture. We are governed by a sustainable fish supply policy.

Processing

We select the best fish and the most suitable size. Subsequently the quality control laboratory performs the inspection, checks the freshness conditions, ensures the pieces are not damaged and are free of contamination.

Packaging

Tradition and innovation. We maintain old traditions for preparation: manual cleaning and packaging, but without overlooking the technological advances that add value to many phases of the process.
